1. Prohibited uses

You may not use GetSigned for any of the following:

  • Illegal activity. Using the service to facilitate fraud, money laundering, or any unlawful transaction or document.
  • Fraud and deception. Forging signatures, impersonating others, or sending documents under false pretenses.
  • Harm and harassment. Sending threatening, harassing, or abusive content, or content that promotes violence.
  • IP infringement. Uploading or sending content you do not have the right to use or distribute.
  • Spam. Sending unsolicited bulk documents or using the service to deliver spam.
  • Malware and attacks. Distributing malware, or attempting to disrupt, overload, or breach the service.
  • Reverse engineering. Reverse engineering the service or circumventing its security or rate limits, except as permitted by law.
  • Signer consent abuse. Sending documents to people who have not agreed to be contacted, or misrepresenting what they are signing.

2. Content restrictions

Do not upload content that is illegal, infringing, malicious, or that you lack the right to send. Documents requiring formalities that an electronic signature cannot satisfy in your jurisdiction (for example certain wills or court documents) should not be relied upon through the service — see legality in Canada.

3. Enforcement

We may investigate suspected violations and may suspend or terminate accounts, remove access, and preserve records as required by law. Where appropriate and lawful, we will give notice and an opportunity to respond. Serious or repeated violations may be reported to the relevant authorities.

4. Responsible security disclosure

If you discover a security vulnerability, please report it privately to contact@getsigned.ca and give us a reasonable opportunity to remediate before any public disclosure. Do not access or modify data that is not yours while testing.

5. Reporting and contact

To report abuse or ask a question about this policy, email contact@getsigned.ca. This policy works alongside our Terms and Privacy Policy.
